Class of 2011 Senior Representative Wanted!

I am currently looking for 2 or more Class of 2011 Senior
Representatives to sit for a FREE Senior Portrait Session. I would like to work
with both a male and a female representative this year.


What is a Senior Representative?
A senior rep is a person who simply shows off their senior portraits, and
tells people where they were taken.

Are Senior Representative's paid?
Senior rep's are paid in service, not in money. The people chosen as
Senior Rep's will receive a free, extended length senior portrait session. The
session will likely take place over 2 separate days, and 3 or 4 locations. The
locations are discussed ahead of time to find places that will both showcase my
photography skills best, and suit your needs for your Senior Portraits. In
addition to a free portrait session, Senior Rep's can earn free credit points
towards their portrait print purchase. You will also receive 25 Senior Rep cards
to pass out to friends, good for 20% off their portrait print purchase.
If you receive enough paid referrals, you'll also be able to earn free
gift cards for iTunes, Subway, or Target!

What is needed from a Senior Rep?

• be in the graduating class of 2011.
• be outgoing and willing to have fun.
• sign a model release.
• bring a parent to the shoot.
• be able to participate in 1-2 photo shoots in July
• live in or be willing to travel to Lansing or Grand Rapids, Michigan
• be willing to show their portraits to friends and tell them about Expressions
by Heather Photography.

To apply, please talk with your parents first, then send a Facebook message,
email, or place a call to Heather at Expressions by Heather. Parents permission
is required for all students under the age of 18.

Not all people who apply will be chosen. The places are limited to 1 male and 1
female. Applications are being accepted through June 16th. This is not a
contest- the people chosen will be chosen at the photographers discretion.
Senior Class Representatives Will Receive:
Extended Senior Portrait Session.

3-4 Locations to show a varying degree of settings- Urban, Rural, Parks,
Etc.
Unlimited Image Selection on Low Res CD to share on Facebook, MySpace,
Twitter, Blogs, and show off on your phone & iPod.
24 Wallets of the image (or split up between 3 images) of your choosing.
25 Senior Representative Referral Cards to pass out to friends. These are
good for 20% off the Print Purchase of the person referred, so they get savings,

For each paid Referral you earn, you'll receive 2 free print credits towards your own print purchase. Print credits are good for $5 off your print purchase

Senior Portrait Package Options

All senior portrait packages include:

• 2 outdoor locations of your choosing. The locations should be somewhat close together. Travel time in between locations is limited to 10 minutes of driving time. Locations further away than that will cost $5.
• Friends, Parents, Significant Others are allowed in a limited number of photos at no additional cost.
• 100+ images to choose from when selecting the images you like the best.
• Images chosen from the session on a low resolution disc. Low Res images will be watermarked with the studio logo, and will be printable up to 4x6" print sizes. You can print these up, or use them as online photos.
• 3 creative edits, including collages, vignette, selective color, text, and more.
• Standard color editing for great color on the photos, as well as black & white or sepia editing on any of the chosen images. Your name and graduation year can also be added to any image corner at no additional cost.
• Prints or Print Credits towards your print order
• Props- feel free to bring any props of your choosing. Musical instruments, a vehicle, sports equipment, even pets! You will be in charge of making sure to keep your pet under control. Pets are subject to location, as not all locations allow for pets. Non-exotic animals only, please.
• Unlimited clothing changes, if the location has access to a public restroom.

All sessions further than 25 miles in distance from zip code 48813 will be charged a $20 travel fee. If you are further than 75 miles from 48813, or are uncertain as to the distance, please feel free to ask!

Mini Session Photography Package

Time: Sessions will be run from 9am to Noon, and from 5pm to 8pm in 30 or 75 minute increments
Location: Lydell Park in Comstock Park, Michigan, just 5 minutes from Downtown Grand Rapids.

If you wish to have individual photos of more than 3 people, you will need to book a second time slot. Booking a second time slot will give you an hour and 15 minutes of photo time for $70. The price and time available is only good for back to back time slots for the same family.

75 Minute sessions are available to anyone who wants to book one at the rate of $70. 75 minute sessions include 2 clothing changes.

Your session is limited to Lydell Park. 30 minute sessions do not allow for clothing changes due to time constraints. If you would like to have more location & clothing options, please email about my normal rates for regular full sessions.

There are 8 sessions available currently. If these fill up, a second date or photographer will be added to make more room. Please indicate the time you would like for your session. Due to lighting issues, we will not be holding any sessions between 11:45am and 5pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to fill out paperwork.

Payment for the session is due at the time of the session in cash or check. Photos are held until check clears. If paying in cash, please bring exact change.

What kind of photos can be achieved in a short time frame? LOTS! Each of the photos below were done in short time frame location shoots.

Senior Photo Time

Now's the time to book your Senior package! The class of 2011 is gearing up for the busiest year your child has had so far. It can also be one of the most expensive times, between school dances, graduation gowns, open houses, and pictures.

If you are looking to save some money on the costs of your senior pictures, you've come to the right place. I don't charge an arm and a leg, and I don't compromise quality.

All of my photos are taken outside, in an outdoors, natural light setting. Locations range from urban to rural. 

Senior portrait sessions start at just $70 for 90 minutes of photography time in the Charlotte/Grand Ledge/Lansing area. Locations in the Battle Creek will include a $10 travel fee, so the base price is $80. Grand Rapids area will include a $20 travel fee, so the base price is $90.


Your session will include:

• Multiple outdoor locations, though a fee of $5 will be added on to distances more than 20 miles apart from one another.
• Wardrobe changes, if the location has a public bathroom.
• Props of your choosing- school uniforms, band instruments, some pets (friendly, non-exotic pets only, please), car, etc. 
• 25 photos of your choosing. Additional photos are $1 each.
• 3 image edits, including selective color, air brushing, photo collages, and more. Black & White or Sepia are not considered edits, and are free of charge. Additional edits can be done for $2 per photos.
• 1 8x10 or 2 5x7 prints or 1 sheet of 8 rounded corner, die cut wallets of the photo of your choice.
• 1 Low Resolution CD with your photo choices on it, which allows you to have prints 4x6" made up in any quantity, with a the studio logo on them. A high resolution CD is available for $20.
• 3 Photos with your Name, School, & Graduation Year added to the corner for Wallets.
• Friend or Significant Other- many Seniors wish to remember their Senior Year with a portrait taken with a friend or significant other. I charge $5 for each additional person included in the session's photos, but the focus of the session will be the senior. If you and a friend or significant other are interested in both booking a session, we can do them on the same day at the same locations for a discount to both booking parties. Email for specifics.
• 2 Booking Dates- 1 main date, and 1 back up date for weather.
• Referral Freebie! Refer your fellow Seniors, and your family will receive a FREE mini session with Expressions by Heather.

Expressions by Heather is happy to now provide prints with your sessions. Prints can be ordered a la carte, or in package deals.


The print service I use is fast, and uses professional, studio quality paper. Print prices are not included in you session fee, though most sessions do come with 1-2 prints each.

Wallet Name- $1

A wallet name is where I digitally add a name to the bottom, side, or corner of your wallet image. There is a flat $1 fee for this service for each image selected for wallets, regardless of how many wallets are ordered. If you choose to order 32 wallets of the same photo, the cost is $1. If you choose to order 8 wallets each of 3 different photos, the cost is $3.

Proof Book

8 page  8.5x11" proof book from your session with up to 40 images, bound with a clear or frosted cover- $35.

Images in the proof book will vary in size and layout depending on how many images are chosen. The images will include edits ordered from the session, and unedited images not selected. All 40 images will be of your choosing.

Portrait Collections
Collections can be split with several photos, to save you money. Wallets must be ordered in sheets of 8 with 1 image, all other photos are ordered individually.

Portrait Collection A:

1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 8 3.5x5's, 16 wallets - $30, a savings of $7 over A La Carte orders.

Portrait Collection B:

2 8x10's, 2 5x7's, 4 4x6's, 4 3.5x5's, 8 wallets- $30, a savings of $7 over A La Carte orders.

Portrait Collection C:

4 5x7's, 8 4x6's, 16 wallets- $30, a savings of $8 over A La Carte orders

Portrait Collection D:

1 5x7, 2 4x6's, 16 Wallets- $14, a savings of $3 over A La Carte orders.

Portrait collections can be combined together for larger packages. Ala cart items can be added at full price as well. 

My print service does require a minimum $25 purchase for each printing. If your order does not reach $25, I can hold it until another order comes in, to meet the $25 mark. If you have any questions about this, please contact me.
