Now's the time to book your Senior package! The class of 2011 is gearing up for the busiest year your child has had so far. It can also be one of the most expensive times, between school dances, graduation gowns, open houses, and pictures.
If you are looking to save some money on the costs of your senior pictures, you've come to the right place. I don't charge an arm and a leg, and I don't compromise quality.
All of my photos are taken outside, in an outdoors, natural light setting. Locations range from urban to rural.
Senior portrait sessions start at just $70 for 90 minutes of photography time in the Charlotte/Grand Ledge/Lansing area. Locations in the Battle Creek will include a $10 travel fee, so the base price is $80. Grand Rapids area will include a $20 travel fee, so the base price is $90.
Your session will include:
- Multiple outdoor locations, though a fee of $5 will be added on to distances more than 20 miles apart from one another.
- Wardrobe changes, if the location has a public bathroom.
- Props of your choosing- school uniforms, band instruments, some pets (friendly, non-exotic pets only, please), car, etc.
- 25 photos of your choosing. Additional photos are $1 each.
- 3 image edits, including selective color, air brushing, photo collages, and more. Black & White or Sepia are not considered edits, and are free of charge. Additional edits can be done for $2 per photos.
- 1 8x10 or 2 5x7 prints or 1 sheet of 8 rounded corner, die cut wallets of the photo of your choice.
- 1 Low Resolution CD with your photo choices on it, which allows you to have prints 4x6" made up in any quantity, with a the studio logo on them. A high resolution CD is available for $20.
- 3 Photos with your Name, School, & Graduation Year added to the corner for Wallets.
- Friend or Significant Other- many Seniors wish to remember their Senior Year with a portrait taken with a friend or significant other. I charge $5 for each additional person included in the session's photos, but the focus of the session will be the senior. If you and a friend or significant other are interested in both booking a session, we can do them on the same day at the same locations for a discount to both booking parties. Email for specifics.
- 2 Booking Dates- 1 main date, and 1 back up date for weather.

Expressions by Heather is a studio that specializes in quality, natural light portrait photography with children, babies, familes, and individuals. If you are interested in a different type of photo session, don't hesitate to contact me! My rates vary based on the type of session booked!
Expressions by Heather is happy to now provide prints with your sessions. Prints can be ordered a la carte, or in package deals.
The print service I use is fast, and uses professional, studio quality paper. Print prices are not included in you session fee, though most sessions do come with 1-2 prints each.
A La Carte

Wallet Name- $1
A wallet name is where I digitally add a name to the bottom, side, or corner of your wallet image. There is a flat $1 fee for this service for each image selected for wallets, regardless of how many wallets are ordered. If you choose to order 32 wallets of the same photo, the cost is $1. If you choose to order 8 wallets each of 3 different photos, the cost is $3.

Proof Book
8 page 8.5x11" proof book from your session with up to 40 images, bound with a clear or frosted cover- $35.
Images in the proof book will vary in size and layout depending on how many images are chosen. The images will include edits ordered from the session, and unedited images not selected. All 40 images will be of your choosing.
Portrait Collections
Collections can be split with several photos, to save you money. Wallets must be ordered in sheets of 8 with 1 image, all other photos are ordered individually.
Portrait Collection A:
1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 8 3.5x5's, 16 wallets - $30, a savings of $7 over A La Carte orders.
Portrait Collection B:
2 8x10's, 2 5x7's, 4 4x6's, 4 3.5x5's, 8 wallets- $30, a savings of $7 over A La Carte orders.
Portrait Collection C:
4 5x7's, 8 4x6's, 16 wallets- $30, a savings of $8 over A La Carte orders
Portrait Collection D:
1 5x7, 2 4x6's, 16 Wallets- $14, a savings of $3 over A La Carte orders.
Portrait collections can be combined together for larger packages. Ala cart items can be added at full price as well.
My print service does require a minimum $25 purchase for each printing. If your order does not reach $25, I can hold it until another order comes in, to meet the $25 mark. If you have any questions about this, please contact me.
